Log water parameters

Water tests are the bedrock of reef tracking. Coralynx lets you log every parameter you care about, with the same units you use day to day.

Supported parameters

  • Salinity (ppt or specific gravity)
  • Temperature (°F or °C)
  • Alkalinity (dKH)
  • Calcium, magnesium (ppm)
  • Nitrate, phosphate (ppm)
  • pH
  • ORP
  • Anything else — add a custom parameter from Settings → Preferences.

Logging a test

  1. Open the tank.
  2. Click Log test in the parameters card.
  3. Fill in only the parameters you measured — leaving fields empty is fine.
  4. Save.

The dashboard will graph the values over time and flag any reading that falls outside the tank's target range.

Tip: bulk import

If you've been tracking parameters in a spreadsheet, use Import CSV at the top of the tests table. Coralynx will preview the rows before committing.
