Add a coral

Every coral in Coralynx has a record. That record is what powers your inventory, the lineage tree, and (if you sell) your sales history.

Create the record

1. Open Corals in the sidebar and click New coral.
2. Pick the tank it lives in.
3. Enter a name (your nickname for it — e.g. JF Bird of Paradise).
4. Optionally add species, morph, source/vendor, and a photo.
5. Set status to Alive (the default).
6. Save.

Photos

You can attach a photo when creating the coral, or upload one later from the coral's detail page. Photos are private to your organization unless the coral's tank is shared publicly with photos enabled.

Bulk add

If you're moving inventory in from a spreadsheet, use Import CSV at the top of the corals table. The preview step lets you map columns before committing.
