Track livestock
Livestock covers fish, inverts, and anything that isn't coral. You don't need to track every snail to get value — most reefers track fish and named inverts.
Add a livestock entry
- Open Livestock in the sidebar and click New.
- Pick the tank.
- Set the type (fish, shrimp, snail, crab, urchin, etc.).
- Add a name (e.g. Steve the clown) and optional photo.
- Save.
Quarantine
If you're treating a fish in a quarantine tank, just assign the livestock record to that tank for now. Move it to your display tank when QT is done.
Notes
Use the notes field for anything you want to remember:
- Aggression toward tank mates
- Feeding response
- Treatments and medications
- Source / vendor
